Depends on whether Bob ripped out Jims Adams apple. That would make 6. If bob only wanted to eat apples, then that would make 7 as his adams apple would count. If Bob didnt want Jims adams apple for whatever reason, he would have 5 apples. Unless Jim shielded himself with an apple, or during the violent encounter Jims adams apple OR a fruit apple was structurally comprimised

it depends. you said "How many would he have?" you didn't specify who. If you meant Bob, then it would be 5. But that is too obvious. If you meant Jim, then he would have none, because Bob would have taken his apples from him. Then again, you didn't state that Jim died, or was severely injured.in this case Jim could very well still have his 2 and Bob have his 3, if the stabbing was not successful on Bobs part, and Jim ran away with his apples. but i really don't eve care. I don't know why I even bothered to answer this question.

Bob would still have 3, because when he shanked Jim, Jim would have let go of his apples and they would have gone rolling down the hill into that big lake.

Actually the answer is probably none, because I would hope that Bob would shortly after the incident be serving life in prison, and all said apples would have been confiscated as evidence.
