Why can other nationalities display "Latino Pride, Black Pride,or Asian Pride" on shirts and such but caucasions can't say "white Pride" or "Caucasion Pride" without being called a racist?

I agree that who you are is vastly more important that what color you are. I am also sick, however, of people like Caribbean Blue listing all of the "Caucasian races atrocities" as if we were the only race to ever commit them. You can find slavery in the far east tracing back to the beginning of written history and it continues in several areas today (Middle East, Africa). Have we all forgotten about stories of the Pyramids being built by slaves? Did anybody else ever hear of Native American tribes capturing and ENSLAVING members of their rival tribes? I think if more people acted the way they should towards each other and worried less about what they call themselves or how P.C. they are, the world - and ALL its races - would be a much better place.

Saying "Caucasion Pride" isn't racist. You can't go to jail for it. I display Gay Pride sometimes, but I've never seen Caucasion pride, probably because Caucasions don't have a lot to be proud of. We did have slavery, segregation, we forced Indians onto reservations, and we put the Japanese Americans into internment camps. We have been racist in the past, so many people believe that we are racist now.

i think the real question is why do you ask that and to answer yours and let me tell ya now i ain't talkin bout anybody because of the color they are or the race cause honey i got alot of different things in me but the reason is because white or as you say caucasion people didn't go through slavery but african americans , indians, mexicans, and a whole lot of other races did and like i said that ain't sayin nothin bout caucasian folk but the other races that some i am part of did go through slavery and caucasian folk didn't so there should be pride days for them because pride days are made on the same day that the race of it became free

Because political correctness is backfiring. I think MOST people want equality. It's just that if there's strength in numbers, and you're a minority...it stands to reason that the stronger race would be who ever is in the majority. As humans...we understand how wrong that ends up to be, so white Americans have stepped back and taken a look at how we could make things more equal. Problem being, we've erased all of our own cultural identity in the process. Now, ANYTHING a white person does to show pride or to stand out as part of a group...equates to standing out as part of the majority=the oppressors. It's bull, but political correctness is at fault. It started out as a good thing, but it's abused. There are European celebrations, but there aren't any white American culture celebrations.

I think anyone can show their pride. None of us today have been slaves, slave owners and such. We should not be penalized for what our ancestors did in their day. And if you check history as stated in other answers...Africans sold captured men from other tribes into slavery, so aren't they just as responsible for slavery??

Its a white guilt thing. People, including Caucasians, refuse to disassociate who we are now from what we once were. Be proud, man. The way I look at it, you have every bit the right to be proud of your heritage as anybody else.

There is nothing wrong of being proud of who you are.. its when you start thinking your better than another group or you put people of another group down.... thats where the problem comes in at........I'm black, but I'm not proud just because I'm black. Im proud because I'm the person that I am, strong, independant, caring... and that has nothing to do with the color of my skin.

I disagree. Lots of communities have German, Scandinavian, Italian, Polish or other European festivals. There's nothing wrong with these and these celebrate some form of "caucasian" culture.
