Yeah, they work.
Just make sure its really constipation and not something else. I know someone who died after doing a Fleet enema.
She had diverticulitis and the enema cause her colon to rupture, killing her.

Fleet enemas work just fine for what they are designed to do. Just follow the directions on the box and you will be well on your way to spending some time on the porcelean throne.
And no matter what the others say, enemas can be fun and enjoyable and are a lot more fun than eating all that fruit and nuts stuff.
Have fun and enjoy yourself.
Good luck.

Before you use an enema for constipation, try making some of this wonderful formula that is guaranteed to help you poop. Plus it doesn't taste any worse than raisin bran! We use it for the old people in the nursing home:)
2 cups all bran-in cereal isle
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup prune juice
The reason that I suggest this is because enemas if done incorrectly can damage your rectum, and they're just plain uncomfortable.
May you have a good healthy poop!!!

Yes! they work. If you are having a on going battle with constipation, go see your Dr. You could have some internal problems that need to be checked out. Suppositories work good also. The new yogurt, "Activia" by Dannon, I have been hearing great things about the naturally regulate for your digestive system. Still visit your Dr. and try these things on the side.

Especially the mineral oil ones work very well. That what we use in the Emergency Room for constipation.

particular, you took an enema while it became not needed. as quickly as you had the BM there became no reason to inject sodium phosphate interior the rectum. The stool became long gone so all you probably did became draw added moisture into the colon for the time of the colonic lining.
