There is nothing worse then y-fronts. I like those boxer short thingys that aren't really baggy, boxers themselves can be a bit naf (especially when they have homer simpson or something on them)

Personally i like the look of those jersey shorts, like boxers but a bit more fitted.
My partner likes what i call 'knickers', not y-fronts but more like the female style of underwear. He says they give him more support and whatever he wants and likes is okay with me.
If a girl wants to dictate what underwear you wear, then she's far far too controlling and probably not worth your time.
