Please tell me what the docs said to eat right after surgery (either that day or the next day). How did you feel what made you feel better? Could you move around, or not so much?

Not to eat greasy food.
Of course after the operation you can´t move so much.
And after a few days, you´ll be recovering.
HOPE YOU DO IT SOONER THAN I DID.

I was put on a clear liquid diet for a couple of days, which included jello, chicken and beef broth, coffee, tea....really not much at all. By the end of the second day I was given more solid forms of food. But you know, you feel like crap after having that surgery and food wasn't high on my list of wants. There's a lot of pain associated with the healing from all abdominal surgery. You have to take things slow, and you will, in order to avoid the pain. Only lasts three, four days and then you start getting back to your old self again. Good luck.

I've never had anything removed except for a couple teeth that were bad. Still have my tonsils, adenoids, appendix, etc. that I came into the world with.

Right after surgery, you don't want to eat right away because the aftereffects of the anesthesia can make you sick. You'll probably be limited to liquids for the first 12 hours, at least. Then you can go to soft foods the next day.

Since I've never had any major surgery, I can't tell you what the recovery period is like.

I did.
The docs usually recommend no solid food for a few days after surgery. Lots of jello, broth, ice cream, and juice -- not so bad.
I really only couldn't move around for about a day. It hurt to do so for a couple of days more, and after a week things were back to normal unless I strained the area.

Only if my husband is helping me. I may also be very presumptuous and he rings a bell in my memory of the well that's nonetheless left. Without him, I might have stored on to these fears, doubts and assumptions and sure, I might have overlooked lifes first-class chances. (like I stated-the darkish aspect)

Provided that my husband helps me. I can be very presumptuous and he strikes a chord in my memory of the nice that is still left. Without him, i'd have stored on to these fears, doubts and assumptions and sure, i'd have ignored lifes pleasant prospects. (like I mentioned-the darkish aspect)
