By the way, if my question is so racist, why isn't anyone reporting me for it? BECAUSE IT'S A VALID QUESTION, MAYBE?

I'm NOT racist and unsure exactly why you're upset, but what if white people came out with a magazine called "Ivory" to be their version of "Ebony?" Would you be upset about that...?

I think the reason why some people are considered racist - whether they are or not - is because the one(s) labelling them as such tend to view THEM in a racist manner as opposed to considering what's been said and disregarding color...

Glad you settled down...

My answer would have to be 'experience.'
For forty years black people have been complaining about an 'outrage' committed against their great grandparents--maybe!--and blaming it on the white folks, just because they happen to be white. Which is exactly what you guys are always complaining that we do to you--judge you just for your color. Where's the difference?
Not only could none of my greats afford slaves, or even servants, but the Amerindians among them were target number one for fifty years, not to be enslaved but to be killed. They got over it; you should too. If you have current problems, gripe about them, don't drag out a past that might not even be yours.
We keep hearing how it was an institution in America, but slavery was at one time perfectly legal, and perfectly common, everywhere, not just among blacks but also among whites in Europe--you lost a war, usually you got dead or enslaved. Look far enough back, and nearly every soul in this country comes from someone who was once a slave. The thing is, they quit talking about it.
You guys should quit flogging that old nag, and just get on with your lives. You have your freedom, do something good with it for yourselves instead of continuing to fight a war you've already won. Most of us 'whites' don't care what color you are, it's the societal jerkhood we can't stand.
You're the ones who always scream race whenever there's a non-black involved, even if it was purely personal. Good leverage, I suppose. but it gets real old real fast. I hear a lot of yelling about 'whitey,' and there's no difference between that epithet and the 'N' word. Except, apparently, if you happen to be black?
If you want to be treated just like regular folks, try acting that way.

I think this goes so much "deeper" than the color of our skin! Can't anyone voice their opinions without being labled racists?I can criticize you , but you can't criticize me? Ridiculous, what makes one more superior than the other , just maybe, if we all stopped looking at what's on the outside, instead of seeing the person for who they are on the inside, this world would be a much better place! This isn't all about "me" people, this is about "Us" everyone, not just black and white , everybody! If we don't stop what's happening right now, there won't be any of "us" left to "complain"! Now I'm mad!

Because it's much easier to say the problem lies with someone else. All you have to do is stand there and say, "...it's them over there - they're the problem!"

I see examples of it all the time on this site. For the life of me though, all that energy being wasted blaming another race, when we could be using that energy learning to have respect for our differences, then coming together to bring about positive changes in the world. Racism is just another form of hatred. Nothing will ever be constructively resolved using hatred as a foundation.

I'm so tired of seeing "...why do blacks blah-blah-blah..?" and "...why do whites think blah-blah-blah..?" People who feel that way need to wake up and realize you can't stick an entire race in a box and slap one stereotyped label on them! We're all different! Alot of people aren't listening though - they're too busy fighting and blaming.

Well, ME, thank you for giving me an excellent example of exactly what I'm talking about. You poor thing.

The only time, I've heard the blacks complain, is when it is about something a white , asian, indian, olive skinned person has done something wrong. Especially when we are called a HONKIE.
I don't get offended. But sometimes, I really feel I don't deserve that. I have great respect for the blacks. Your question is double talk. We can't answer that question, especially when you are talking both ways. The subject you are asking is the same as what your telling us not to do. So how do we answer that ????

In the 1940s, a very significant group of people in Germany blamed all their problems on a certain race. They learned to hate them for perceived unjustice. The result was WWII and the holocaust.

It is not fair to make the gross generalization that all black people are racist. However, let it be said that ANYONE who blames their problems on a generalized group of people (including on whites) is a racist.

I really would like to answer/discuss this with you. However, I feel that no matter what I say, you would not listen. You phrased (and typed) your question in such a way that no matter what I, or anyone else says, you are right and everyone else is wrong.

TIP: Never ask a question when you're upset.

Your question is raceist..What if white people had WET..White Entertainment Televesion... Or a Day named after a guy to proclaim White pride, or White History Month... Ya see. This is why I try not to even get into these arguments or debates, because it leads us knowwhere.. Whay does it even have to be black and white.. I think we should all just be judged on who we arew..Well that is how I do it in my little coroner of the world.. If white people or black people want to hate or dislike me, then good for them.. I love yas all...

I think the bottom line is white people just don't want to hear our complaints.
Trying to get them to understand how we feel is just not gonna happen.

See what i mean? i'm reading other responses, and now they're making doing exactly what you asked them not to do-changing the subject and putting it back on you...it's sad.

I don't know but it pisses me off too. I would seriously be able to get a shovel and beat their faces until they're deformed then go to bed without losing one second of sleep! :)
