I don't think that anyone did capture that moment, it would be already on the news don't you think?

There we a film crew that was making a film about a NY rookie firefighter. It does show the 1st plane hitting the North Tower. The name of that documentary is 9/11. It was shown on TV a couple of times hosted by Robert DeNiro.

Make copies and do both!
Actually i don't know. That would be so weird if you were just making a simple documentary about the World Trade Towers and then all of a sudden a plane crashed through them.

A French film crew was documenting NY firefighters when the first plane hit. They were able to video tape it. There is also another video from the freeway, very far away, which I believe shows the first plane hitting.

Actually, there was a crew filming that caught the first plane hitting. It was uncovered a couple of days later, and broadcast then. But it isn't quite as well known as the footage of the second plane.

You must not watch CNN or Fox News, they have shown footage of the first plane and the second one repeatedly. the first plane was filmed by an individual probably a tourist and they gave it to CNN. everyone else copied it. Anyone who would sell film of an event such as this should be executed.

Yes, ask President Bush. He said he saw that happen and thought it was a terrible mistake. As for the film by the firefighters, that was not broadcast until later--so President Bush must have had access to a private showing as it happened. If I had that film, I would have given it to one of the big stations as soon as possible.

There are videos on it so someone must have given it to a news channel.

I believe the people who were filming a documentary on a firefighter captured that image, and it has been shown.
