Say we grew up in a lab created chamber, with oxygen, outside light coming in from the top, food and a mechanical hand that did whatever a human would do, say we could be raised like this, would we still feel emotions? If we aren't exposed to these things could we still feel sad/mad/happy?

You would feel more instinctual, primal emotions...think ape or caveman. But you would be robbed of more sophisticated emotions and your ability to express these to others or decipher these in others would be deadened.

There have been cases of severe child abuse where children have been found locked in empty rooms with no human contact and minimal food. They exhibited only basic emotions mostly of fear. Obviously, such a study would be unethical to recreate.

Wow.... you really need to get out of your thinking. Emotions come from the MIND realm, and your MIND is located within you. So, everywhere you go, there are your emotions.

Sad, mad, happy are not emotions, they are feelings. Feelings are what your MIND allows you to experience while repressing the actual emotional energy behind these feelings.

For your health and sanity, feed back to those in education what they demand, but please do not take seriously what they fail to comprehend.

It's part of your biological makeup. You'd just experience it less because of the absence of stimuli. But it would still be there. Like the funny people who think they can domesticate a Lion or a Tiger. It's just a matter of time before that nature kicks in.

The human mind is driven on emotion. So, yes, we would still feel emotion even though we weren't necessarily taught to do so. It's how our brains are equipped.

No. we need socialization with other people to learn emotions. if we were never scolded how would we learn about disappointing someone or happiness when we do something nice for someone. Humans are social beings and we need humans to teach us things.

I think you would start to feel the need to have a conversation and discuss things with someone, therefore making you lonely.

That question can't be answered unless the expirament has been done. Try finding a country where you can do that and then get the ball rolling.
