How can someone create a good first impression?

I suspect there are ways... but why?
What would be gained if you fooled someone into thinkiing that you are other than you are? An impression is a subjective judgement that is entirely within another's purvue. If you present yourself in as natural a way as possible, given that this must include respect and kindness, then you have done all you can.
To assure that the second impression doesn't have to be an act, and dishonest, the first should be honest, and congruent with who and what you are.
