I am in the same situation. I happen to be able to help out my man with the care of his parents. It is not easy for him going from the child to the parent. He is very greatful that he has this chance to be there for his parents and to care for them the way they cared for him. Some days he is just beside himself in trying to get them to do what is needed to be done to keep them both out of the hosipital or home. We have been looking into some programs to help out. The only thing I can really do for him, comfort wise, is to be his sounding board. I tell him I love him and his best is all he can do. I am here for him and he knows that. He says I help keep him sane.
I hope your man has siblings that he can share his concerns with. Be strong for him AND with him. Love and compassion will keep him going. The Best of Luck to You!

somtimes just listening and not saying anything as he speaks his heart out is very comforting. try to make life easier for him. maybe you can do extra things that are usually on his plate for him. Like if he normally does the grocery shopping, you could do it. Give him a massage when he comes home. Have his favorite music playing. Rent a couple of his favorite movies. Employ whatever means necessary to make him relax. Try telling him little funny things that happened in your day to get his mind off things. Ofcourse taking him in your arms and making love to him will comfort him as well. I hope this helped.

You make him feel like a man! Cook him dinner. Talk to him. Give him a back rub. Rub his upper arms and tell him how big and hard that they are. Compliment him as much as possible. Ask him if theres anything that you can do for him. Just become his personal "shoulder" for a while. You know what you need to do. It comes natural to women.

Just try and listen. Don't try to provide any remedies. You have to be there for him through the rough stuff. A thing like that is always good for a dude. When he has his better half there by his side and she is sticking with him.

all's that I can say is that you just need to be there for him,he will in time get over this pain and just have good memories of them.It took me 3 years to get over my mom dieing.she past away 5 years ago last month.I still have dreams of her every now and again. He needs you to just be there for him to lean on. Good luck.My mom used to tell me that time heals all wounds.

LISTENING is a big part ...Help out more in other areas. So, he has less to worry about and do. So, all his attention can be focused on what is at hand with dealing with his parents issues. Nice home cook meals, lots of hugs and kisses and a hand to hold.... Thanks

The best thing to do is to let him know that your there for him and when ever hes ready to talk your available. Theres nothing wrong with asking him if he wants to talk about it but I've learned that they come around on their own time

Perhaps you can show your support by doing the grunt work, make appointments for him to get help . Make it easier for him to attend to the problems with out being hassled by problems from other areas. Ask him" how can I help you; help your parents," then try to do as he asks

I understand yer situation. My boyfriends mother is diagnosed with a blood cancer and not very well. The most we can do is be their for them when they need us. Whether it is being pissed off at the world or them needing a shoulder to cry on.

First of all, show him you're there for him. Ask about his parents' condition, help him in any way, and try to make him relax at the thought that he's got someone on his side.
