How is it that when you shave hair on your body, it grows only to a certain length, how does your body know when to make it stop growing and how does it know you cut it? Also they say the hair on our head usually only grows a certain length, why does it stop growing?

the hair does not start or stop growing, it is always growing, it is just that different areas have hairs with different life spans

for example, each hair on my arm may grow for about a month or two before it falls out, and has to start over

the average hair on my arm would then be about a month old, and in a month, a hair can grow half an inch or so

the times and rates differ slightly between people and I pretty much invented them for the example, but you get the idea

head hairs have longer lifes than arm hairs, but they will also also stabilize even if you never cut your head hair

Nope, I had some facial hair at 11, full beard to shave at thirteen and didn't stop growing, above normal top, except 15. Physique hair on the trunk did not begin unless round then and continued to grow in into my 20s in order that I now resemble a chimp. But given your age, you might be seemingly absolutely grown due to the fact that most guys are completely grown by the time they reach 18. Only a few develop after that- like 5% or much less. You are a half of inch above average, if that helps. But given your mother's height, possible acquired more top genes from her than your dad. Just good fortune of the draw.

Nope, I had a few facial hair at eleven, complete beard to shave at thirteen and did not quit developing, above common peak, till 15. Body hair at the trunk didn't begin till round then and persisted to develop in into my 20s in order that I now resemble a chimp. But given your age, you're most probably utterly grown when you consider that such a lot men are utterly grown by the point they succeed in 18. Very few develop after that- like five% or much less. You're a part inch above common, if that is helping. But given your mom's peak, most probably bought extra peak genes from her than your dad. Just good fortune of the draw.

As long as the roots are good the hair will keep on growing. Hair grows at the rate of about one inch per month. Stop shaving for a month and check it out.............
