I think that women and men have different ways of looking at beauty. Lots of women I know think that beauty is just skin tone, sharpness of the nose, sharpness of the cheeks ... hmmm sharpness of everything maybe. But to me (and I think most guys)... its a total package.
An example of which is my girlfriend say a friends of her is beautiful - cos she has nice features, big eyes and shape everything :) but to me ... she is fat!
If you were to put 2 ladies together one with great facial features and plum and another who is average but dresses well and is slim ... I'll pick the second.

I agree, most girls don't know what looks hot to a guy. We're actually harder on ourselves then we need to be. Guys don't disect us to inspect every detail the way we do when we're getting ready in the morning. I like men and women. But when my boyfriend and I are talking about girls, we like a totally different kind of girl. I find that I'm much pickier about how a girl should look then he is. I think some of the girls he likes, and the things he finds acceptable are disgusting. But other guys seem to like some of these girls too, so what do I know. He thinks the girls I like are kinda boyish.
