Theres a rumor going around that he is looking to retire because of last nights thrashing..Is this true? I live in Viking land so it could just be speculation...I hope he stays because our Defense need a few more interceptions...

No, he's going to play every single down for Green Bay because the Packer fans and John Madden will cry if he doesn't, guaranteeing that the Packers will suck next year as well since Aaron Rodgers will have a grand total of ZERO experience.

And Green Bay will be lucky to win 3 games this year.

Hell no! It is only a rumor. Brett Favre loves too much the game to think in retirement after a lousy game

Hell No!!!! Favre knew coming back that this team doesn't have much experience and he is not a man who would bail on his team! He has much to offer these young talented kids and would NEVER leave G.B. in such a manor! By the time the Pack gets the Vik's on the Field, much of the errors will be ironed out, so I hope your secondary is well rested to make it an interesting game!

No truth to the rumors. Favre will be around all year. They may even win a game or two.

I give the Packers till there bye week that if they aren't winning games by then, Aaron Rodgers will start the rest of the season and Farve will retire shortly afterwards.

Its not going to be an easy year for the packers.......ALot of young guys.......But I for one look forward to watching Favre play this year. The man is a legend and I am going to enjoy watching him play for as long as possible.

He needs to retire.

My 86-year old grandmother wouldn't have done any worse yesterday if SHE were playing instead of Favre.

Then again he was playing against the best defence in the NFL.

Here's to hoping he stick's around because there's no way this team's gonna move forward with him in the lineup.
