i brought home my science text book in stead of my social studys and i forgot my folder with imporant papers in it!

explain this to your mother or father and ask them to call your principle and let your principle know about this.....
your principle should write a note to your teacher allowing you to have an extra day to get your homework done. if not, at least you and your parents can say that you tried to do everything you could to get this dilema solved. its perfectly normal to forget stuff sometimes. it happens to all of us...even grown ups that leave and forget important papers at work. just try to make sure it doesnt happen again. but you should be forgiven for this, since you dont make a habit of it. its no big deal. if nothing else you will get a low grade on your home work score...but you should be able to make some extra credit somehow. just ask your teacher, and if your teacher is mean to you, let your principle know....that is what a principle is for....if your principle is mean to you also....then go to your parents with this problem and they should have a meeting with your principle and teacher to get to the bottom of thier attitudes towards thier students in this school....because it is not good teaching efforts nor helpful to your growth as a student in that particular class or even that school. it is not your fault that your teacher is mean. it is the schools fault for hiring someone like that. good luck, remember it is not your fault, so dont let it get you down.

You get the homework from a friend or you copy the homework when you get to school. Get there extra early if you can so that you can catch up. If all else fails ask for extra credit and even if he/she tells you no do something anyway to make up for the homework that you lost.

Use the internet to help you find the answers...if not phone a friend and discuss what she/he has written, and try to put it into your own words
Dont copy: if your teacher is mean, he is probably very smart too, and will find out if you have copied

there are always choices, you tell him honestly what happened, you do it really fast when you get to school, you skip the class (which isn't such a great choice), call up a friend and get it off of them. dont get worried, the worst that'll happen is you'll get yelled at, then life moves on. i know what that position feels like, hapa lot
