like how should I wear my hair? dirty blonde, its wavy(i normally wear it straight) its almost to my shoulder lots of layers and side bangs...My skin is tan.... like not pale but not really tan...(like went to the beach over the summer tan) .... what type of top should I wear? and what color?I think the background is like an amber type color. Thanks!

I'd suggest leaving your hair with it's natural curl, but where you usually wear it straight, you may want to straighten it as usual...
As far as what to wear- I'd suggest solid-color. If you have a shirt that is a color that looks good on you, go with that... a jewel-tone green would look nice, I'm guessing.
Don't wear something with a really low neckline- there's one portrait in one of my year books- the girl wore a dress with a super-low neckline and in her picture, she looks like she's not wearing anything! The photographer didn't catch ANY of her dress.
I'd also suggest not wearing a turtleneck- I wore a turtleneck sweater one year, and it looked kinda dorky... ah, the joys of high school!

i know the answer to this because you're probably referring to a yearly school photo & i've got a 14 year old daughter, & a 12 year old son, & i'm somewhat of a photo buff. anyhow, you only get 1 shot on this, so you need a mirror @ home & ample time to try out as many options as you can while envisioninng the 'amber' background as a factor in the overall picture. since you've selected an amber backgrond it's going to wash out your dirty blond hair color unless u use red hair bands that can be used to simply show some 'contrast'; a red top that blends w/the hairbands would be essential, even if u need to borrow from a friend; color is 75% of the color photo, & red will suit your purposes.... remember, there's always next time, but why not get it right this year. ask the photographer why u can't select a muted colored background like black, white , or gray 'cause it'll give u more options for contrast. best wishes, photos are only images, it's your attitude that counts most, so make sure to smile & leave 'em guessing!

Do not do anything too different than your usual routine, since this is the picture of YOU for this year. Wear your hair straight, as usual. Since you are tan, your hair is blonde, and the background is amber, you should wear a shirt with a color that will contrast like blue or green.

Wear something as close to the color of the background as possible. That way you'll look like a floating head in the picture and everyone will talk about your picture when the yearbook comes out.

you should probobley just wear your hair plain down. if you hav blue eyes a blue shirt would probobley look good. try to find out what other people are wearing. like if a lot of people are wearing red you might want to wear red too so you don't stand out in the year book pictures. or maybe you want to stand out, in that case you could wear purple. you should wear something you feel comfortable in. so you will be more relaxed and look better.

Top-Doesn't matter, it won't show up anyways, with the backround though wear w/e you want to.
Hair-Straighten it, or keep it wavy (if it looks good wavy), but just KEEP IT OUT! People usually look like eggheads with it up (haha, eggheads?)
Face-Keep your smile natural. Think of something funny to sort of laugh while you smile, and don't try to change it AT ALL!

maybe a purple shirt, straighten the hair, you'll feel most comfortable with it like that, not too much mascara, if you wear eyeliner make sure its blended well, and make sure your eyebrows are done, not too thin or thick!<-------------- I had to retake my photos and all summer all i could think about was everything that i needed to change

Dye it pink and wear baggie cut off jeans and go topless. That should make a wonderful picture.

Whatever you do, don't put shiney stuff on your face. Nothing looks worse than seeing your cheeks and the tip of your nose glowing like spotlights.
