getting quotes on car insurance today and one company showed my two tickets, the other didnt and was much cheaper. the tickets were to be cleared off my record on july 29th by the way. how did one company see them and the other showed them to be cleared???

The tickets stay on your record. Its just the points that result from those tickets that become inactive. Some insurance companies look back at your record further than others.

Just ask the insurance company how this can happen.

One apparently investigated you further than the other, and whatever database they use hasn't removed the tickets.
