Many people here in CAlifornia use cars. I understand going to work if it's far, but why would you ever go to the supermarket in a car, when it's say 4 blocks, 5 blocks away. And if you have a 8 to 5 office job where you sit down all day, wouldn't you just want to get up and walk for alittle. I don't know, some people think i'm crazy when i have a car and yet i go walking to a sore 1 mile away or something just because I WANT SOME exercise, especially if i'm sitting allday at work. But i'm not giving in to the pressure of car society. I've seen alot of girls who look nice and pretty but then you see their legs and the cellulite is dripping througout their legs. They always talk about "ill drive there", "Let's drive to the..." and drive drive drive doesn't end. What do you think?

I think you have hit the nail on the head. We as a society tend to rely on the car for too much and of course the fast food is terrible. I was treated for anorexia because I saw all the nasty looking girls and I am 40 then I got sick with seizures and cancer and fell into a depression mode==now it is hard to get rid of the tonage I have gained from the meds and the junk food--walking is not the only cause of cellulite-the choice of food and excercise is another factor==I know when I can get someone to walk with me that is my choice but cellulite does not happen overnight and takes time to get rid of-I used to excercise hard and that is a big help as I watch my girls walk and one of them is larger==under 200 lbs but walking is not enought with pop and junk food and fast food- it is controlling forrd and excercise too--we are a lazy society---suggest a walk instead of ride with your girl.

That is one factor.

The others include, genetic, diet, life style.

The answer to your leading question is a resounding no.
If you want to walk to a "sore" your word not mine...then do so.
