That's about a 0.002 GB/s transfer rate.

I don't think old serial keyboards for computers even transferred data that slow.

USB should be around 11mb/s, or 0.01 GB/s
USB 2.0 should be around 54 mb/s, or 0.05 GB/s

In any case, USB would take 2 hours 13 minutes (approx)
USB 2.0 would take about 27 minutes to transfer 80 GB of data.

there is alot of version in what's seen USB2 speeds. some USB 2 devicies are little swifter than USB a million, which others can burst to close to Firewire speeds, yet frequently can not sustain such speeds. i could guess that, without different apps working and no different drains on the USB documents connection (no longer doing something with the USB 2 stress), it may take between 40 to 60 minutes. stable luck!

If you planning to completely copy 80g of data i hope you have usb 2.o HD external enclosure AND usb 2.0 port on you computer: on this 700mb is just 3minutes to copy. But if you got both or even of them one usb 1.1, it make time really some time. It took me 2 hours just to copy 3gig of files.
