I'm just currious of what people say about this.I just noticed this while I was on this site. I ask question about black guys dating white girls, and all of the white people say IM the racist. This is some of what I got. "Color shouldn't matter" That's really a racist question". I never said anything like black guy shouldn't date white girls. I was just wondering why. I am beginning to think that they didn't know the definition. Am I right?

GREG, having a few things that are for black people is not racist. What about every other channel on tv? What about most scholarships offered in America? Are they all racist too? Think about what racism means? Do I need to post the definition here?

JOE, I hear white people crying all the time about how they hate that some black people get a chance to do something with themselves without being hindered by white people, who are priveledged for being white. So think again about what you are saying!

Pamela- I have to say that as a white, educated, self sufficient woman that dates black men, white men, doesnt matter- yes, I do know what racism means but I have not lived it to the extreme that the black community has. I do agree that color doesnt matter- as I said, I have dated differnet races and ***holes come in all colors- men and women, doesnt matter. I have felt slight racism from the black community as a white women dating black men tho 2. Almost like "what you doin with one of ours" kind of things. That is sad. I do see the little white girls in the club just fawning over the black man as tho he is a prize to take home to daddy just to see if she can push the buttons. I have also seen many black women going after white men. It goes both ways-I do see the racism, but do not understand why in THIS day and age it has to continue. I do think that education begins at home- maybe we should all teach our children the right way to look at people, let the past go and think of the future and all of the good things that can come of equality and raising our shildren to not see people the same way that our parents or grandparents did. To judge not but to look at the person and not the color of skin.

Hi Pamela N, Your question is a good one. You see racism that you know about was invented by whites in the past. Present day whites are racist but they are not sure why. They have seen the the good and bad in all people but they will still hold on to the superiority notion because it puts them in a good light.
Some of the best people in the world are white. They are good and kind and compassionate but others have only their whiteness to take them to the top. The cloak of whiteness is all they have.
You ever notice how all good and positive attributes are given to whites while all negative or dehumanizing traits are give to people of color. Colonization has had a tremendous effect on the worlds population. White folks know the meaning of racism, they invented it for their own good.

You are so right. I asked a question a few weeks ago like 'Do white people see minorities as a reminder to activate their car alarms?' and a few of them called me a racist...
But at the same time i think it's a good thing. It made me stop and think about how people in this country view me and my opinions. According to white people, I wasn't the victim of stereotyping when a white man saw me then returned to his vehicle to activate his car alarm, but instead i was 'paranoid', or i caused the white man to activate his alarm because of my outward appearance (they assumed i walk around with my pants sagging while smoking on a swisher). Basically i've learned that whites love to turn stuff around and make blacks out to be the bad guys. Sorry for the rant but your question sort of brought out what has been on my mind since i posed my question on here.

Any time you say black and white in a sentence and you are black asking a question about white people you are racist according to them. They need to stop being the racist because more black guys will date white girls but I these white guys always say black girls are ghetto or have to big of bootys or lots of kids.

I do. I know exactly what racism is, and I also know that it happens on BOTH sides of any two given races. I know that when I was a teenager, I was jumped gang style several times just because I was there and I was white.
Many people DON'T know the definition, though, and take offense at any and all questions race related.

You're not a racist. Some white people are racists and some black people are. I don't hate black people. You have the right to ask because it is a free country. They shouldn't have said what they did.

i think that a lot of people interpret the questions others ask in their own ways. they are not paying attention to the actual question you're asking. most people on this site are too judgmental. i know we all do it some times but there are too many haters here.
I'm a black woman and i dont care if a black man wants to date a white woman or if a black woman wants to date a white woman. love is love and race doesnt matter. but what bothers me is when a white woman with a black man tries to act like she's black. it's annoying too see a white woman with a black man and she's acting all like "i got your man/brother/father"!! i think that white women who act like that act like they have something to prove and being with a black man helps them prove it.

I'm black and when I hear the word racism, I'm automatically angered. I think racism should be annhilated, but we can't change the way people think. I know some from at least every race has become a victim of racism. I hate it truly.

A lot of people don't understand the meaning of racism. It has nothing to do with their color, it has everything to do with a lack of effort to understand the people around them and only focusing on the difference instead of the similarities. You may notice I don't mention my "race" or "color". It's because it truly is irrelevant. But if you must know, I'm part of the Human Race.

Sure they do, they deal with it every day. Look at black culture in general. It's perfectly OK for you to have black pride month. Its OK for you to portray whites as idiots in your videos. It's OK for your comedian to sling racist jokes against whites. It's OK for whites to be rejected from jobs or schools so they can fill quotas even though in most circumstances they are more qualified.
So yes, whites do know what racism is all about. I guess the only difference is that whites don't cry about every day or exploit it as a tool to get what they want.
