"The workers have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win. Working men of all countries, unite!"
- Karl Marx
I think this is the greatest quote of all time, because it summarizes the struggle of history and the course of the future. When this statement was first made, the workers of the world were very poor and divided. But today, due to the writing of Karl Marx, the workers of the world have come more and more together, and achieved many rights. Child Labor, slavery, and serfdom are almost completely abolished in the world. Public education is free for most of the workers in the world. Democracy exists in many countries of the world.
"Democracy is the road to socialism."
- Karl Marx

There are thousands of quotes, some good, some not so good. I think one of my favourites is; "Do to others as you would have others do to you" Sounds very simple, but I feel there is a message in there for everyone. May I just add another that I made up years ago, while working in the retail food trade? When teaching staff about the quality and suitability of a product for sale, I would tell them, "If in doubt, throw it out" Hope this helps.

"A knight errant who turns mad for a reason deserves neither merit nor thanks. The thing is to do it without cause".
Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes
Ps. It couldn't be the greatest one, but it is exciting to think you haven't to do things for no reason and besides it is already on my 360 page, so there'll be 2 pages with it, right?(hehe)

Battle of Britain Polish fighter pilot in television interview:
'The sky was full of Fockers, Fockers to my left, Fockers to my right. I shot down one Focker then another but the Fockers kept on coming, I just kept on firing until there were no Fockers left.'
Interviewer: 'I must point out to the viewers that the Focker is a German aircraft.'
'Ya,' said the Polish ace 'but these were all Messerschmidts.'
A little humour doesn't go amiss at this time of night.

For me it reminds me that every thing can be worked out. And and by getting mad at some thing or some one really does show how closed minded people can get. Oh and that, Oppression tends to backfire in the long run. And keeping your chin up.
