I wish I knew what it was that your stuck on. But, one place you might try is DIY.com, then click on crochet. Hope this helps. If not take your project to a place where you buy your yarn. There is usually someone who knows the basics that can help you.. I/ve been crocheting for 40 years and still love it. Hang in there and remember once you know the basics the sky is the limit and happy little accidents can turn into new patterns/styles.

go to the craft store where you bought the yearn. I have been crocheting for over 30 years and i help ppl that need it. Wal-mart may not have someone in the craft area where you bought the yearn, but I do know that Michaels will have someone to help you. Go to the library or a bookstore. Or ask someone who knows, like a gramma,or a friend. I hope it helps.

So you don't spend a lot of money try your local library. Sometimes they have video's that are easy enough to follow. This way you can try before you buy.
Also, Try a google search or Joann Fabrics web site they sometimes have classes Not sure if they are free or not.
Good Luck!
