It was what he wanted. He wanted to show the love for those lost on this day 5 years ago. Don't you think that is a pretty grown decision for an 8 year old at the time? His Bishop wanted him to change the date and my son refused. I'm so proud of him.

Even I have a tear in my eye. I'm proud of your son too. He is mature and going to be one of those people who helps the world, not destroy's it. You raised your little boy well. Good job and I wish both of you luck for the future!

Your son has an awesome Mom and you raised him right,my son was very strong in his convictions at 8 and now he is 19 and is a Marine!
