Fumigating won't get rid of cockroaches - it will just make them go to harder to reach places. And what have you actually tried? It is hard to make suggestions when we don't know for sure what you have tried.

Any cockroach remedy is where you need to start. Inside the house, some type of bait station is usually recommended. You can buy the "roach motels" at Walmart. Putting boric acid powder around places you see them will work - drains, cracks, crevices, corners, baseboards, etc.. We used boric acid on our sailboat in the tropics and it worked like a charm - it takes about two weeks though for the cockroaches to all disappear.

And you might want to thoroughly spray an insecticide for cockroaches around the outside of your house to keep them from coming in.

Here is a site with information about them. I hope this helps.

.I had the same problem could not afford an exterminator because they all wanted me to sign a contract so i bought some Home Defense from Home depot and the little combat things. That was 5 months ago and I have"nt had a problem with them sense. I put the combats in every cabinet and in corners of the house especially where there is water. PS... check to make sure you don"t have any water leaks or they will just come back later.

Get some boric acid powder from the drug store. Sprinkle it behind the stove and refrigerator and where the roaches are.Be sure it is only in places that pets and children can not get to. In a reasonable short time, the roaches will kill them selves off as they take the powder on thier bodies and to the nest places. It sufficates them by blocking off thier breathing holes on their bodies. Renew the powder as needed.

First you need to use the Raid foggers (maybe 3 or 4 cans will do) in the entire home . When you return, clean w/bleach everywhere (not too much or else you're gonna pass out) then use Combat gel in every non-functioning crack you see.

You'll like the results.

buy some stick rat traps and set them all over with like a piece of food on it. then buy some cheap off brand dish soap and put it in bowls all over the floor. If that doesn't work, pack up enough clothes for 2 weeks or so and your nessecities and move to a hotel. Call the extreminator.

honey i live in florida. cockroach heaven. if you find a solution please let me know. i have been fighting roaches all my life and the only thing i have found that works somewhat is seven dust sprinkled all around your house on the outside. make a complete line of it. on the inside i have found that combat gel works well. better than anything else but being in florida there is nothing completely 100 percent.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right before Christmas, my house burnt down and we were forced to rent a house ASAP until the insurance came through. Anyway, the house was CRAWLING and I mean this literally....... crawling with German Roaches. Being petrified of bugs..... I left to the hotel, called the landlord and the exterminator came the next day. Two weeks later... NONE! and I mean none! He used a tube of paste and whatever it was worked like a charm!
Call the exterminator..... he will help!!!!
Good Luck!

We moved into an infested house, and Orkin didnt even work well for us, dont waste money. Raid and boric acid is working better and is cheaper., but yeah, spray all over and open the windows

Other than a pro,the raid roach ender w/ the birth control works best. You have to be studious after about 3 weeks of daily spraying it should do the trick. You have to make sure they don't have anything to eat as well.
