Commitment. People have lost the value of commitment. When i give my signature, my hand shake, my word. It means something. It's a "this is me" sign. I'm the real deal. I make a promise, I keep it! End of story. You brake a promise, you loose integrity. It works with friends, collegues, work, to your superiors and your subordinates.

It's what makes a man. It's being profesional. You commit to love and to provide the other person, till death do you apart; then you just signed the deal. Like in business, why invest a large sum of money on a business you know its not gonna last?. Why get married if you dont truly love the person as to take a bullet for her? Why make a promise you cant keep? - It's not a religious thing, it's not a lovey lovey thing. It's an integrity thing.

Marriage is a commitment. It means talking out your problems and trying to find a way to solve them. Since each person has a different personality there are bound to be disagreements. Men and women look at things in different ways (read the book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, to see what I am talking about) A lot of men like sports, a lot of women don't, you compromise on different things. He wants to sit and watch a football game, you go and do what you like to do. You just work it out. That nice giddy feeling at the beginning of a relationship leaves as you become more mature and realize it is the values you both have that make up a big part of your relationship. Many people jump into marriage never knowing what the other persons values are. Does your partner feel that marriage is a commitment or do you just stay together till your feelings change. (something they do all the time)

Marriage is commitment. U marry each other because u love each other. Commitment with each other doesn't end at the altar. The couple is meant to live by that commitment, every single day, for the rest of their lives together.

Sure, people change and the couple won't be the same people 10, 20, or even 30 yrs later. But u have to change and grow together, not apart.

Whichever - marriage is a commitment but sometimes there are changes which one has no control over. When that happens one has to deal with the situation as necessary.

The word 'Love' has often been used loosely.
I believe commitment is the strength of integrity. Through sincere commitment to a relationship love can evolve.

Marriage is a commitment with love. My feelings changed for my ex when he cheated on me and hit me. There are always good reasons to leave a marriage and bad ones. You need to make that choice.

commitment
love is easy today and even tomorrow, the true test of character is working through the times that need more than love, sticking together not only for love, but for the sake of the relationship, family, and devotion.
if there is love with commitment, then those feelings of love will not likely change, only grow.

marriage is a commitment based on love - you have to work on your marriage everyday - once one partner stops working at it - apathy sets in - marriage is for grown-ups, not immature people.
