Anything that tastes good cold ( I assume he doesn't have access to a microwave) and is nutritious and easy to put in something like Tupperware so he can take it with him. If you want to serve him a hot meal you could always invite him into your home. Make sure it looks real good, that adds to the good feeling he gets when eating it. Some sandwiches are a good idea too, but make them really yummy. Good luck. Nice thought by the way.

A bottle of orange juice (vitamins), a loaf of bread (whole grain so he can get fiber and vitamins), some crackers (try and get the most nutritious), string cheese (protein and calcium), beef jerky (protein), packages of tuna--not the cans (high protein and portable).
You want to try and get as many nutrition rich foods that you can. It also would be great if you got a variety of foods that satisfy protein, vitamin, fiber, and calcium requirements.
It's great that you are doing this. Don't give him cigarettes though. Or alcohol. Obviously.

anything your not going to eat. If you see a homeless person when your going into a fast food place pick up an extra item for them, that's what I do. Or coffee and donuts. cheap but especially good when it's cold outside.

Those gift certificate thinggys for fast food places. That way they have money of some sort, but they can't spend it on drugs, and they also get to choose what and when they eat.
