I picked weeds in the neighbors yards when I was 7. I was paid 2 cents for every weed and I had to get the root out. I could make enough money to buy some candy at the delicatessan which was a real treat for me.

I was 16 years old, newly graduated from Grade 13, and decided to go to work for awhile to make up my mind about what I wanted to do with my life. I got a job as a clerk in a CPA's office, way downtown. It took me 2 hours to get to work every day. Working full time I only made $60 a week. I hated it.

My brother used to pay me to buy his candy down at the dime store, so I suppose that was my first job. I was about 10.

I was 16 I was answering phones at a Karate place I only worked
8 hours a week, but you have to start somewhere right....

minus the babysitting, my first job was retail at Geoffrey Beene and i was 15
