I am only 16 and i am at that stage to where being alone is a challenge. I want to find someone to be with who understands me. It just seems like the lesbians that are around are either taken or not my type. Its also really hard spotting lesbians especially if they arent butch! I really want someone to be with. This isnt a desperate cry for attention or help so dont think that it is. Im only 16 and its not like I can just show up at a gay bar lol. I just want to know how to find someone thats a lesbian. Its so hard. It would be really appriciated if i could get your advice! Thanks girls <3!

Believe it or not I am a lesbian (Except I placed My avatar as male). It is very hard to find someone that is a lesbian (more since you're 16 and it's quite illegal for older people to speak comfortably around you). Most of these girls like to hang around Starbucks coffee shops, Barnes&Noble (for those smart ones out there!), and there are some that go to teen clubs (these clubs are mostly for 18 and younger crowds). You may also check online..through Xanga.com or somewhere 16 yr. olds can meet others comfortably.

I have had the same problem, and im 15. Its so hard to find someone, and so hard what too look for. I got 1 good website for you. ( shoe.org )....i havent had much luck in there cos every1s from America, and the ppl that are from where i live...are never online lol....so basically ur stuffed lol na dont give up hopefully luck will come to both of us....someday lol...

Im really concerned about your age. I think at 16, you should be worrying more about school and getting into college. It seems you just need a friend to talk to. Try joining clubs or sports at school.

you can try different sites-like myspace, xanga and stuff and put your orientation on there, and do a search for the same--you cant really join the dating sites legally as you are underage, and i would never advise a minor to lie to get an account like that--but xanga is pretty good-myspace also and on myspace you can do a search in your specific area (by zip code)
