Have seen hundreds of them. There are certain times of the year when they have meteor showers that you can lay in a field in a reall dark area and see one or two every minute. It's really pretty cool when you realize that those things are millions or more years old that just burned up in our atmosphere.. Try it sometime, almost any night-but make sure it's in a really dark area away from the city lights and you w8ill have fun. Good luck to ya!!! GaryT

I see shooting stars all the time. I've also seen a meteor. It was a big orange ball with a trail of fire behind it. It landed in the next state and was in the news the next morning. It was so cool!

One time when I was young a sat high atop a hill and saw a beautiful streak of light cross the sky, I knew when I saw it that it must be a shooting star. Upon that star I made a wish: That one day cheese would deem me a worthy disciple and it would allow me to spread its love and wisdom to others.

I have seen some lots of places at night. I saw the most at night while driving. I was in the desert in Texas. Really cool. It's like you saw it and can't believe something so spectacular. I always make a wish.

I heard on the radio that it was going to be a good meteorite show.
I drove out to the desert (no lights), and got a real good show.
Saw at least 10 exceptional ones in a couple hours.

I saw an amazing one about two years ago. It lasted almost 5 seconds as it broke apart across the entire length of the sky. It was orange and white. Frankly, it kind of scared me it was so big.,

Hundreds of 'em! You just have to hold your head really still and not move your eyes. I don't see how you could miss it, it happens every night.
