What color was Cinderella's ball gown? Certain clips show it as white, others show it as blue. Did she wear two dresses, one blue, one white? (Aside from the end when she marrys the prince).

There were many different aspects of how Cinderella's dress looked like. Walt Disney's version was a light blue dress, which lookd to me like a hoop skirt. Some draw it white, some draw it gray; but in the original Cinderella story, she went to the ball twice and wore 2 dresses. The first time it was Silver and the second it was Gold, which looked a LOT better then the Silver one! Hope this helps, and just to let you know, she's always been my farorite princess since I was little. :-)

You're right it was blue. In the "old days" it was harder for them to keep something the same color all the way through the movie. Either because many people would color them or because they needed to save money. They would sometimes use white in a few drawings and blue in most of the others. The reason? Because white costs less than blue. For the most part, the dress would be blue (Which was the color) and if they messed up, the dress would be white.

I think it's a pale blue. It may be the color of the version you are watching it in that makes the dress slightly change colors. Techicolor shows it as a light blue (the new version). The original may be closer to white becuase the color advances weren't as great as they are today. Member in Sleeping Beauty when Mary Weather and Flora keep changing the color of her gown from pink to blue? Hehe..I love that movie. I still cry. :)

Well a friend of mine purchased the Cinderella ball gown dress form the Disney Store for her daughter and it was Blue. I believe her ballroom dress was blue and the marriage dress was white. Hope this helps.
