This seems to be a favorite myth. The '75 Cordoba ("The new, smaller, Chrysler") came with only V8 gasoline engines. Your choice was 318cid, 360cid, 400cid and the 400cid high performance. Engine horsepower and availability varied according to emissions package (California, Canadian, etc.) The Cordoba name continued through the '83 model year, but never with a diesel engine. Really!

No never my father sold Chrysler,s back in the 70,s and no Cordoba ever had a diesel.

No, they did not make a diesel Cordoba at any time.

No they didn't, they've made them with the 318, 360 and the 400 V8 motors.

Not that I can remember. Chrysler's first diesel installed was the cummins in the ram.
