no it does not give more cleavage, it makes them look smushed and hang out every where that looks trashy and not extra good. Just because you can fit them in it doesn't mean you should wear it. It looks cheap and nasty i think. I have DD i dont try to get into a C or D. It's ridiculous.

Honey, if you had my problems.....
My breasts are a size 42 DD, and I have to make sure I buy stretchy fabric bras, or even that doesn't fit! Have you ever tried to buy an E and above cup bra? They are only ever available in specialty stores, and then they make them look more like football pads than feminine lingerie. And it doesn't matter how well my bra fits, if I bend over even a little bit, I'm going to start falling out!
What I wouldn't do for a decent sized pair of breasts!

Well, first off...a lot of women don't really know what size they are and wear bras that are too big or too small.
Also, when a woman gains weight, her bra size increases and the woman is often reluctant to buy that bigger size, because she will loose the weight...(yeah, right).
And of course, there is the cleavage factor, but again, most woman don't know how to size themselves for a bra or what bras are designed for cleavage VS support.

sometimes when purchasing bras you pick out the right size but when you get home the material is different. I think and hope that no one intentionally wears too small bras. THEY HURT!!!

If we gain weight, then our bra becomes too small. Maybe we think we're going to lose the weight or that you won't notice. We don't realize that you stare so much and can't look away.
Hey... why is there always a brown stain on your underwear?

A lot of women don't know their proper bra size which could explain why they wear ones that are too small.

they haven't been measured in awhile and just buy the same size bra thinking that it's the right size or they might never have been measured properly. and yeah some do it to make their breasts look larger but then a padded bra would do the same thing and be a whole lot more comfortable.

Do you know what would happen if I wore a bra that was too small? I would literally fall out! I'm one of the smarter ones who goes and gets measured and fitted, don't want no accidents with these babies. I don't want to be responsible for a car accident.

B/c it's not something a lot of women talk about. I think it also falls under the category of "If I buy something in a bigger size that means I'm fat".
