I mean, I have lots of people, on my list. And, I don't know about 70% of them. How do you know if they are the real people that you see in their photos?

I understand, but how can you tell if you see different photos, of the person you see in the main pic. Doesn't sexual preditors have like one or 2 photos of the child, or girl?

You make sure you personally know everyone on your list. What is the point of having people you don't know? Other than actually meeting them you really have no way of finding out. However, on the same note you may get a kick out of this related SNL skit about MySpace

You dont know... That is why I try to know most of the people on my friends list, but if I do get an invite from a stranger, I check out his comments and the comments that he has left for other people too. You can tell a lot about people from their friends.

you CANNOT tell if someone is a sexual predator

you cannot tell by their looks, their pictures, their websites, their anything

all that can be easily faked

you MUST always treat internet contacts that you don't know personally as though they could be sexual predators

DO NOT give out personal information
do not indicate where you live or what your phone number is

You can never know. Anyone can upload pictures and say it's him/her, you can make yourself appear to be male/female, old/young etc.

So BE CAREFUL and trust no one with your personal information. Don't tell anyone your address, phone number etc.
Your safer assuming whoever your talking to is the local serial killer.
