There is an easy way to figure this out: Check your BMI ( Body Mass Index ). It is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both male and female.
First it depends on your age: are you an adult or child/teen ?
Assuming you're an adult: 5 feet, 4 inches and 116 pounds = 19.9 which indicates that you are NOT fat. Hope this helps everyone ! ^_^
BMI Weight Status:
Below 18.5 Underweight
18.5–24.9 Normal <----------------19.9
25.0–29.9 Overweight
30.0 and Above Obese

If you were in shape at 116 you could be extremely hot! If you are soft and out of shape...
My gf is 5'6", and weighs 145 because she has a lot of muscle, which is heavy. She looks thin, and people miss guessing he weight by 20 lbs.
Look at your figure, not the scale.

If you are woman 20 or more years old then you are in a very good shape.
Your body mass index is 19.91 and normal index is considered 1between 18.5 and 25.0 therefore you are on lighter side and far away to be fat. You would be considered obese if you weighted 146 lbs.
Children obesity is evaluated in somehow different way but i do not thing that you would be considered obese if you were younger then 20.

A quick way to discover if you are over/underweight is to calculate your Body Mass Index. The body mass index is a way to calculate your body fat in relation to your height.
You can do this online at the link below.
With your weight and height, you have a BMI of 19.9. Normal BMI for your height and weight is between 18.5-24.9. You are on the low side of this. Good excuse to have that extra slice of apple pie tonight. We wouldn't want you withering away. :)
For more info. go to the link.

You really cant tell without a pic. I mean, if your work out and eat good, then its probably all good. But if not, you (NO OFFENCE) probably look chubby. This girl I know is the same height/weight, and shes gross because its all nasty fat.

Being "fat" and our weight is related to our age and bone structure as well as our height. By no means would I consider you fat at your height and weight no matter what your age and
bone sructure is. I believe the normal weight range foe your HT. and WT. is approx. 112-120 pounds.

sad when a girl who weighs what you do needs to ask this question..but for what its worth, (and i know this as a medical fact due to my line of work) you would be considered a healthy weight, even slender...if you were 3 inches shorter! so a big NO to respond to your inquiry. may want to check some body weight charts on line to confirm.
