British teachers see other teachers as unqualified. Even the system in the UK does not recognise the qualifications of other countries. On the other hand, I am of the opinion that a lot of British schools are in a mess because of British teachers and now rely on other nationalities for assistance.

I am of the age when Grammar Schools existed and I went to one before the Labour Government scrapped them in favour of Comprehensives. The teachers there were marvellous. They filled me with so much knowledge i couldn't believe it. They were the best for me and i absolutely loved my schooldays. Nothing was too much trouble for them to explain and although discipline was strict they were very fair. I would agree that they must be amongst the best in the world.

In every country of the world there are very good teachers and others who are not.
And I think what really matters is to be a GOOD STUDENT, learn as much as you can from your teachers.
To be good or not in Scholarship is no matter of nationality.

i think British teachers are good! its the students that are the problem! (and im a british teenager, so that should prove something!)

i guess they have their own ways n values of teachings..but to me that is selfishness behavior.children should be able to learn something about each country like we have here...thats how ppl r they think they know it all but when proven wrong they ready to go running to another nationality to learn of their history n cultural...sometimes thats what it takes too make them broaden their horizons.....lol
