MY wife is also a stay home Mom with 3 kids at home. It is very difficult for her to find time and energy to have a social life. Recently she has taken an interest in dance. Ballet, tap, and modern. Whatever that is. Anyway, she reverted to something that she enjoyed immensely before kids. Ask her what she wants out of life other than raising kids. The best thing to do is let her know that you are concerned and will support her by giving her time to do other things. After all staying home with kids is undoubtedly the most difficult job around. She deserves your support. P.S. trying to find friends for her won't work well. Finding friends is an intimate process that belongs to her. If something goes wrong, she can't blame you for it.

My husband and I recently went through this. I'm a stay at home mom, and had a hard time going from social butterfly to asking my three year old what to do about the "crazy drivers" on the road. It's really a hard switch, after talking it over my husband and I decided that I'd get a part-time job. I found a job that wasn't very demanding ( so that I wouldn't get stressed out) and I work maybe 20 hours a week. It's great!!

Start swinging. Share your wife with other men and have her watch you with other women. Trust me after she's been run through by some hairy beast and you've been with a few sex goddesses she'll feel lucky as hell that you are with her and not leaving. She'll stay at home gladly and raise your children as a respectful woman. Just be sure to take her to the doctor for a STD checkup.
Just kidding - don't do that!
Take her on a weekend vacation. Take the kids along, but have places where you can leave them and watch the sunset, sit next to a lake where she can swim and you can watch the kids at the same time. Bring some wine, and light a camp fire. Also, don't feel like you are abandoning the kids if you skip off to have some quality time with her, how do you think you got those two anyway. But above all, make it feel like she's getting away from it all. I had to do this with my wife of 7 years and it helped a lot. It's like a mini-vacation for her and it keeps me sane.

Maybe she should consider being a part time job. Im a partylite consultant and I think that it would be something that would be perfect for your wife. It gives her the opportunity to be her own boss and work with a schedule that fits her needs. What I do is go to the homes of my close friends and family a promote the partylite product, which is candles. What women doesnt like candles. Its really fun and I think that its something she might be interested in. Talk it over with her and if she thinks it sounds interesting tell her to email me at jonluc15@hotmail.com.

I am a stay at home mom now, and I love being with the kids, but I hate the being here by myself. it does get lonely, and sometimes you wish that you could have an adult conversation. I know that the dogs think that I am crazy, I have even started to talk to them now...

if she is not working maybe she needs to start. That would help. Staying at home with 2 kids all day can make a monkey go crazy

Take them out and do things together. Give your wife the opportunity to socialise with other people, particularly women so that she can engage in girl talk and share experiences.
