Has anyone read "Midwives" By Chris Bojalian? Did you enjoy it?

I just finished a book called "Buffalo Soldier" by Bojalian and it was one of the greatest books I have read all year. I picked up "Midwives" because I wanted to read something different by the same author, but the person who recommended "Buffalo Soldier" said that they had a nauseating response to "Midwives". Does anyone like the book? Should I bother reading it?

Great writter and even greater book. I thought it was wonderfull. I would read it if I were you. If you liked Buffalo Soldier you will think this is twice as good! I promise.
