call your doctor again and say you haven't had your period in 4 months.....that should make an appointment available in the next week. this never fails.

When was your period supposed to be due and how late are you? Sometimes the pregnancy hormone is so low that it is not detected on a pregnancy test. Every pregnancy test stick has different levels of sensitivity - meaning that some can detect low levels of hCG (pregnancy hormone), and others won't be able to detect the hCG in your body not until it reaches a certain amount. Depending on how far along you are, if you are indeed pregnant, home pregnancy tests should be more accurate the further along you are with the pregnancy.

If in the event that you are not pregnant and still no sign of a period, my guess would be that you are having an anovulatory cycle/s - meaning that you are not ovulating. Sometimes, that can cause pregnant-like symptoms as well as a missed period (I know, because I went through it once). Hormonal imbalances and fluctuations can definitely screw up your cycle. The symptoms that you have listed in your question are typical pregnancy symptoms, but the thing is, those symptoms can also happen during pms (premestruation), hormonal imbalances, anovulation, and even stress can make your cycle go weird.

If your period is still a no-show after being late for 2 weeks to a month, and you are still getting negative home pregnancy tests, it is in your best interest to book that appointment with your OBGYN to rule out pregnancy and other potential problems causing the symptoms. Get a blood test done for sure because it is more accurate than a urine test. I know you feel like it would be a waste of time to go to the doctor just to find out that you are not pregnant. But if you are not pregnant and experiencing those not-so-normal symptoms, then it won't be a waste of time to find out if there is something wrong. Assuming that you are indeed pregnant, you still need to see your doctor anyway for that first prenatal visit.

Goodluck to you!

You pretty much describe the symptoms of a pg of at least 6-7 weeks. If the urine tests are negative maybe is because your body hasn't enough HCG (pg hormone) yet, it doesn't mean there's something wrong, just that everybody is different. You need to get a blood test done, that'll get you out of the woods. I dont know how it works in the US, i mean, if you need a dr's appointment to get one done, or if you can go to some clinic and do it (like in southamerica, 10 minute result, USD 10). But you definitevely sound like you are.

What might be happening is you don't have enough HCG in your urine to show up on pregnancy tests. Sound like you probably are and you nedd to get an actual blood test to confirm yes or no. Which means you are going to have to go tot he doctor. If you can't get an appointment then go to a free clinic and tell them that you need the blood test because the HCG levels aren't high enough to show in urine and give them your syptoms... GOOD LUCK

You need to get a blood test. Book a appointment. I knew I was pregnant and all my urine test came up negative. So my doctor finally ordered a blood test and it finally came up positive. I was already 6 months pregnant.
