If you're looking for a natural supplement, I suggest Menopause Balance Complex.
This complex uses compounds found in plants called phytoestrogens to ease mood swings, sleeplessness, and hot flashes.
Contains a standardized extract of Black Cohosh as well as Soy Isoflavones and Flaxseed. Also contains a proprietary phytoestrogen blend of dong quai, red clover and licorice. Black Cohosh is a clinically proven herb that helps relieve hot flashes.
Also Menopause Balance Complex Cooling Lotion. This lotion offers soothing relief and can help reduce the often dramatic sensation of skin temperature fluctuations.
Contains a proprietary, synergistic blend of more than a dozen natural herbs including black cohosh, soy isoflavones, evening primrose extract, flaxseed, and jojoba seed oils.
It's progesterone-free and may be used as often as needed without side effects.
Hope this is helpful and for questions or the website, feel free to contact me.

My oncologist suggested 800mg of natural vitamin E each day. Also anti depressants are supposed to help, but I won't take any more prescription drugs and hormone replacement is not an option. I did try using soy but my estrogen levels shot up from 33 to 621 - and the flashes got worse - drinking alcoholic beverages makes them so much worse too.
Laying naked in a snow back is very nice - hard to find this time of year. Good luck

your doctor can prescribe hormone pills or if your like me and can't take them i take a herb called black cohosh root--I can't say it take it all away but it has helped alot. It takes awhile to get it in your system to work good. There is also alot of OTC medications that help that usually have this herb in them. Good luck, I know its awful, I've been dealing with them for 1 1/2yrs.
