Is it just me or have you noticed people being "trigger happy" with the Thumbs Down option? I keep going to different questions and it seems like there's a thumbs down in every post, even it if's a good post answering a question about the correct song title. I only put a thumbs down if it really is insulting someone or something like that. People are getting thumbs down for giving their opinion when their opinion is asked, doesn't mean that it's wrong.
What are your thoughts?

Yeah I've noticed that lately, too. There are a couple of trolls I think that just go through and thumbs down everyone on a thread. Then there are those in the political/racial/sexual threads who have very strong opinions, and any answer that's not theirs is a 'bad answer'
All in all I think "thumbs up/down" is a good feature because ideally it will let someone with a serious question help sort out the sarcastic or purposefully misleading answers.
There was one question that said "What will happen if I eat rat poison?" and I felt like being a wisea** and said "nothing, go ahead." Lots of people thumbs down-ed me, and I thought later, what if this person really didn't know? If I had been the only answer, maybe this person went and spiked his coffee....I was glad that there were real answers all around to help them, and glad I got thumbs down.

some people just might not like the question or the answer..or it is a totally rude question i will give a thumbs down good question thumbs up on this for me

It does not rather difficulty me. Peole have a precise to furnish thumbs down or up. I specific do no longer lose any sleep over a thumbs down. I actual have extra appropriate issues to stress over. i don't comprehend Owl city. i like infant Be Mine.

Yes I get them too. I just ignore them. Count them and figure that's how many don't like me....I don't care. Just be around more to get on their nerves..
