I loved it, though I enjoyed the book much more. Visually speaking, it was probably one of the most beautiful works I've ever seen. I didn't think I would like it after reading the book, but I did & btw, it's not just a 'chic flick' for whomever said that. It's for both genders and it tells not only of history, but culture.

I've never read the book, but I went with my best friend who happens to love the book. We both loved the movie, although she said that they left a lot of stuff from the book out of the movi,e and she liked the book more.

Fantastic flick, well directed, great actors and although it ran a bit longer than I'd have liked, it kept me interested to the very end.

I thought the movie was cool... some parts took to long when you knew what was going on. But the part when she actually got to dance....my jaw dropped....beautiful!
