you question a statement you made?or someone else made?what could be better?is this not the best thing?it gives the impression that its a menial thing your doing now,and if there was something BETTER,you would,NT be doing this.

If a person gives you that reply when you ask them if they would like to do something/go somewhere, it seems like the person doesn't really care much about joining you. I know that isn't always the case though, because I know people who respond that way to all invitations. Or they say "I don't care" when you ask them something. I don't think people realize how negative it sounds.
