I guess. I have to admit, I was a fan, and you have to give them credit for bringing that famous pop sound to America. They really were the ones responsible for the Britney Spears' and the Christina Aguilera, and the Backstreet Boys. They were the top selling female group (long before Destiny's Child) and they were role models to young girls like when I was younger. Their songs were upbeat and very inspirational.

If it's the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, no. The Spice Girls aren't a rock group.

I was a fan I will admit but I do not think they deserve a place in the rock and roll hall of fame. They weren’t even rock and roll.

Any Hall of Fame requires a long career.

Let's debate this further in 2023 when they are actually eligible for induction.
Both now and in the future I will respectfully disagree with you. I am of the belief that Rock Hall inductees should be actual bands that play actual instruments, not a bunch of girls (or boy bands) who milk a 15-minute phenomenon.
That's not to say I didn't like them when they were popular, I even bought their CD. I just don't think they're Rock Hall worthy.

I hope not, but for what it is worth they should be in a music hall of fame or a radio hall of fame but it's not rock.

NO - the Hall of Fame is for "Artists who have made a significant contribution to Rock and Roll" - I defy ANYONE to name me ANY significant contribution The Spice Girls have made to ANYTHING other than the decline of our civilization.
(they shouldn't even be allowed into the building)

i'll admit that i used to like them years ago, but in the ROCK AND ROLL hall of fame? they were POP artists! i think they don't deserve to be with all the greats in that respect.
