These are all really good answers I'm going to have to try them out and see what works best. I had no idea I would get so many adept answers--I guess because I've never heard anyone talk about it, I've just had a private battle for about 11 yrs (or more!)

Intuition rises from the depths of the human heart. It has two aspects: one is dependent upon an outer impression, and the other is independent of any outer impression. The former is called impression, and the latter intuition. Intuition is a fine faculty. As it comes by responsiveness, it is a feminine faculty. Woman, therefore, is more intuitive by nature than man.

Often one says 'This person gives me such and such an impression,' but there is no reason to prove it. One is perhaps not capable of finding any reason to prove it, nevertheless one's impression is right. There are some people who are naturally intuitive. For someone who is intuitive, it is not necessary to wait until he, so to speak, finds a person out. All he needs is one moment. As soon as his eyes fall upon the person, this instantly gives rise to an impression, which is the former kind of intuition. Someone with a fine mind and with a still mind generally has intuition. Someone with a gross mind and a restless mind lacks it. Intuition is a super sense. It may be called a sixth sense. It is the essence of all senses. When a person says he sensed something, it does not mean that there were objective reasons to prove that it was so. It means that, without any outer reasons or objective signs, he has sensed it.

Intuition that is independent of impressions is of a still deeper nature, for it comes before one wishes to begin a thing and so one knows what will come out of it. Before the beginning of an enterprise, one senses the result of it. Intuition is sometimes a kind of inner guidance, and sometimes it is a kind of warning from within.

Imagination is a phenomenon which takes us to the next level of awareness. From dissolution comes the artistry of creating new forms and structures, only this time they are yours. This is a time to integrate the spiritual with the material. Our imagination lead us to fresh thinking with which we can creatively manage change. We are in the process of creating a new model for work: one of nurturing, learning, meaning, fulfilment, and interconnectedness with humanity and the planet.

Imagination preceeds intution. Any mind - of any age, any I.Q. or E.Q. can imagine but intution is not for everyone. Imagination maybe a result of idiocy, but intution is a refined stuff. Its more like the difference of the weight of a Diamond and its brightness. The weight is the imagination while intution is its brightness/shine, which dazzles.

Imagination is actually used as a pivotal term. The theories about the activity of imagination are as widely varied as theories of sensibility. Some hold that Imagination is governed by the senses themselves; others define Imagination as the faculty that processes sensory data to produce a feeling response; still others see imagination not as coeval with sensibility, but as able to manipulate feeling in order to produce the creative work of art or the political work of compassion.

In any given discourse of sensibility, imagination tends to take on a stable, well-defined role which can be enhanced by the Logical chain of thought, yet it possesses the acute properties and possibility of spinning out of control.

Intuition on the other hand is a direct thought process that draws completed, pre-processed information and knowledge from the subconscious to the conscious mind and makes it available for immediate use. All that is required is a choice. Intuition is a pure knowledge based process and only allows the function of a truth to be accepted or for it to be disregarded by the individual.

Imagination is all of the "what ifs" that spring to mind. Imagination can evoke emotion, but not always.

Intuition is closely connected to emotion and reasoning. It the feeling you get about someone, or some thing.

♥♫♦ Imagination is when you are aware that you are awake and then you are thinking and seeing vivid pictures. And Intuition is when the things that you are imagining is going to come true. That is best way that I can describe it. I hope that I have helped you.♥♫♦
