I have to write a report about the medical beliefs of American Indians. Examples of how they treat certain illnesses or how they approach illness all together. Do they use herbal remedies, spiritual remdies ect. If possible please provide a reference because I have to cite all of my research. Any tips on how to approach my research or any cultural resources you have used would be helpful!!!!!

The medical beliefs of the Native Americans Is typically what would be the basis of: Holistic medicine, Shamanism (faith healing), and most Herbal remedies all which can be typed into any search engine and the amount of information I think is boundless. I'm terribly sorry but I'm not that knowledgeable enough in that subject to know of good links too pass on

You can look up American Indian medicine or Medicine Men or American Indian Folklore. Different tribes believe in different things.
