The only states I have seen them even raise their flag were Texas and New Mexico. Why is that? I have lived in Nevada for nearly a year and I have yet to see at least a state flag. Do other flags not look as good as Texas' or New Mexico's?

Texans also have the shape of their state on a lot of things. Like my dogs rabies tags. I can't imagine seeing the shape of Nevada on anything.

raising a state flag doesn't mean state pride. It just might be more of a tradition in those states. Florida has a lot of state pride in the sense that the people who live here love living here.

You want pride you should talk to someone from Boston. Those bastards think everything from that city is awesome and that they are better than New York or any other big city.

Wisconsin and California.

The DC flag is all over the place here in Washington, but us district residents aren't in a state. We don't even have representation in congress.

Every state I have lived in, including TX and NY, have raised their flag. Albeit some do it in more places.
