its virtually natural it was given to the people of newcastle by lord armstrong and has to stay as it is its in the middle of newcastle and is there for everyone to use no other city can boast of anything so beautifull right in the middle

A bit of both, but more natural than man made. It is a good place to visit, I remember visiting there often when I was little and I take my own children there sometimes. The kids love pets corner as well.

I think it's mostly natural with a few man made bits, like the bridge and the ruins/cottages. I think there is a museum/info thingy somewhere but I can't remember 'cos I've not been there for years.
