I hear ya, I feel the same way! Over the years, many of my friendships have ended due to my realization that these "friends" weren't really true blue. I can't be around people who give off a negative energy.

It seems like as you get older, the opportunity to make friends with others gets less and less likely. I want to make new friends, but it's hard. No one seems to extend themselves. I mean, at work there's a gal I would hang out with but she never asks me out for drinks or tries to create a true friendship - same with the girl who does my hair and we're exactly the same age. It is so weird!

I've always been a loner, and I'm pretty happy with being that way. It's alot less complicated. What I've had are mostly either co-workers or acquaintences.

I did and its gonna be ok.

you will find someone that you have the same connection with, just like your old friend. and just because you dont have alot of friends doesnt make a loser.actually having less friends is better. it keeps you out of trouble!!!!

I find it easier to look out for number one first and foremost, and having one or two great friends is better then having 10 or more friends.
