not really.
determine what is making you stress. if it is something you can remove from your life, then do so. if not, then either find a way to cope without stressing, or reduce your involvement.
try to treat the SOURCE, not the symptoms. an ounce of prevention is indeed worth a pound of cure.
other than that, realize that life goes on, no matter what your problems are, no matter what's troubling you. stressing out is completely pointless; it does not advance your situation. it is merely wasting energy.
try to be logical in examining your problems; remove the emotional element.
and dont forget; it could always be worse.

Depends on the type of your stress and the type of person you are. But, meditation is best. People find watching fish relaxing. Try gardening, Pilates if you also wanna get into shape. Any aerobic excercise will lower your resting heart rate and help you cope up with things.
