While on summer vaction,Jim realized that one of the world's tallest office buidings was in malaysia. The building had 88 stories and the total height of all 88 stories was 1,232 ft. Jim pondered about something; how can I slove and write and equation to represent the hight of one story?

Let x equal the height of one story.

Then...

x = total height of building/number of stories

or

x = 1232/88

x = 14

Divide 1232 by 88.

you take 1232 ft and divide by 88. you get 14 ft. that's the height of one story.

You should divide the height of the building by the number of stories.

if its just plain math then you can just do 1232 divided by 88 and then get your answer
if its any kind of algebra and you have to solve it in an equation then it would be...
h= height of one story
1232= 88h then divide both of those by 88
h= 14 ft.
