when the attacks happened i had just turned the tv on to see what was on as i prepared to go to work. i stood in shock not sure what to think. then i called my boyfriend and told him to turn on the news. he came rushing straight over and we talked tiltime for work. that was the only year i didnt think about my little girl. sept.11 is her birthday. she would have been three that year. she died at birth. i pray we never forget what happened or what we felt that day. my perspective has changed i am now married to a man in the military. the pain he felt that day was unimaginable. he was in boot camp and was told they could be deployed and then later sent to "A"school. that wasnt the case. my heart breaks every year on this day for both reasons. but i have to wonder where was all this country support before the attacks and where is it all now many have forgotten i cannot God bless all who read this

i was in school when it happened and we werent notified that any attack happened. the car ride home we listened to a CD so we didnt hear it on the radio. when i got home at 3 to check the weather for that night (i was supposed to go to my friends pool) the channel that came on when i turned the TV showed a plane hitting the 2nd tower. at first i was thinking "what the hell. is this a movie?" i then realized that i was watching the news. that was a real shock. i was angry my school said nothing about it

I have an 11 yr. old granddaughter who is plenty bright and has a pretty good idea of what and why this horror happened. It is a dark and cold and rainy day here in central Michigan. She said that God is crying. So are we.

Its still hard to belive and i dont think it should ever be forgotten and must not be forgotten. And we should thank all the people that gave there lifes on that day and all the heros, the men women and firefighters, police, all of them. And all of us, because we became United on that day. On that day we all became heros, because we had to be. Never forget 9/11
